Transmashholding representative office opened in St. Petersburg

Transmashholding opened its representative office in St. Petersburg. 

Opening of the representative office in St. Petersburg was announced during St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in June current year. At the Forum, Georgiy Poltavchenko, Governor of St. Petersburg, and Andrey Bokarev, President of JSC Transmashholding, signed the Partnership Agreement on upgrading transport infrastructure of Russia’s Northern Capital. The representative office will be headed by Viktor Ivanov who previously had filled the position of Transmashholding’s deputy general director for after-sales support. 

For the first time, the Holding established a representative office not abroad but in one of regions of the Russian Federation. Its operation provides further opportunities to promote the products of the Holding’s sites in the North-Western Region of Russia and to work in an increasingly integrated and collaborative manner with potential customers and consumers as well as to look after the Holding’s interests. 

Two industrial sites are located in St. Petersburg – Oktyabrsky Electric Railway Car Repair Plant is engaged in production and repairs of metro cars, overhauls and refurbishment of EMUs, DMUs and trams. KMT manufacturing company produces various components for vehicles. The representative office is located in OEVRZ facilities. 

Transmashholding has representations in Byelorussia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine.
