TMH increased its IFRS revenue by 44%

In 2018, JSC Transmashholding increased its sales of goods and services index by 44%. The IFRS value amounts to 224.8 billion rubles against 155.8 billion rubles in the previous year.

The highest gain is in locomotive traction passenger coaches: double-decker coaches sold 58.5% better (41 against 65 units) while single-level coaches sold 62% more (429 against 696). In 2018, TMH started major project to update and renew its product line of passenger coaches. A contract for 3730 passenger coaches of this new product line was signed in February 2019.

The sales of metro coaches show positive dynamics with a 57% growth (688 units against 439). In 2018, TMH created a service company MWM-Service, started production of several new modifications of “Moskva” trains (including the ones for aboveground lines), implemented production of “Moskva” at its St. Petersburg plant.

Diesel engines of various applications also demonstrate an increasing demand. Their sales scaled up by 38% (639 units against 463).

The summary of all EMU cars produced in 2018 increased by 33% (from 297 to 394). In 2018, TMH started shipping new Ivolga electric trains for Moscow Central Diameters.

The locomotive segment also demonstrated a rise. Diesel locomotives grew by 11% (from 327 to 362) with a significant gain of 12% in shunting diesel locomotives (146 against 130).

Freight electric locomotives grew by 78% (from 269 to 475 sections). Passenger electric locomotives surged by 90% (from 21 to 40 units).
