According to the contract, six 81-765.B/766.B five-car trains will be built before the end of 2019.

The trains feature wider door openings compared to the previous model, walk-through passage design, new door open-close light alert system, excellent noise and heat insulation, air conditioning and ventilation, and USB outlets. The head cars have platforms for passengers with accessibility needs. A distinctive purple colour scheme was designed specifically for Baku cars, along with tweaks to headlights and the information system.
