TMH Mainline Diesel Locomotives to Service Navoi Mine in Uzbekistan

TMH Bryansk Plant manufactured and shipped two Class 2TE25KM mainline freight diesel locomotives to Navoi State Mining and Metallurgical Company in Republic of Uzbekistan.

The contract was signed in the end of 2019. These 2TE25KM will be the first two in Uzbekistan.

The diversified operations of Navoi mining and metals enterprise require regular retooling, modernization, and evolvement of transport infrastructure. The latest powerful 2TE25KM locomotives will help increase cargo carriage volume through the higher average weight of the hauls while reducing operational costs.

Class 2TE25KM mainline freight diesel locomotives successfully operate in diverse climates of North-Eastern Russia, Povolzhye, Krasnodar, North Caucasus, Ural, East Siberia, Mongolia, and Kazakhstan. The working conditions of the locomotive crew remain comfortable in any outside temperature.

The reliability, cost-effectiveness, and maintainability of these vehicles are valued not only by Russian Railways, but by private operators as well, such as BaltTransServis and other industrial fleet owners. These locomotives operate at Ulan-Bator Railway in Mongolia, Tugnui Coal Mine in Buryatia, Shubarkol Mine and Sokolovsko-Sarbaisky Ore Mining and Processing in Kazakhstan.
