The floor framing is designed to be fitted on passenger cars as a supporting and anti-vibration structure for deck floors. It ensures a thermal insulation of the deck floor from the car body, as well as vibration absorption and noise abatement inside the car in all modes of operation of the train. The floor decking is made of beams and buffer rods. The deck floor vibration is reduced by three to ten decibels within a frequency range of 10 to 80 Hz. The floor framing is made of aluminium sections, filled with a thermal insulator. The beam can carry up to 10 000 N/m of distributed static load remaining intact. The buffer rod deformation under the static compression due to the operating load of 600 N is 4 mm.
